Thanks to Danielle's inspiration and push, I got up behind the mic and told a story for the first time!  And I did alright:  Tied for first place (finished in 2nd), and won the Audience Vote!

Red leaves turning out my window,

have been my friend,

my hourglass,

my reflection,

my beauty,

a vision of imminent death,

and my hope of renewal.
